1About these terms
These terms govern your use of https://www.jyotirefractories.com, the customer account portal on it, and the enquiries, quotations and orders you place through it. The website is operated by Jyoti Refractories, a sole proprietorship of KAILASHBHAI RUPSINGBHAI UGHAREJA, registered for GST with GSTIN 24AQPPU8308L1Z3.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company. Please read these terms together with the Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal data is handled.
2The products we supply
We manufacture and supply ceramic foundry filters — square and round sizes for ferrous and non-ferrous casting. The catalogue on this website publishes real sizes, technical specifications, prices and minimum order quantities for each product.
- Product photographs, drawings and technical values are published to help you select the right filter. Where a batch certificate, technical data sheet or lab report is published for a product, that document governs for the batch it was issued against.
- Specifications may be revised as our process improves. The specification confirmed on your proforma invoice is the one your order is made and supplied against.
- Availability is confirmed when we accept your order. A product being visible on the website is not a stock guarantee.
- The minimum order quantity shown on each product page applies. If a free sample is enabled for that product, you may request one through the sample form; otherwise ask us directly about a trial quantity.
3Prices, GST and quotations
- Prices on this website are shown per piece in Indian Rupees and exclude GST unless stated otherwise. The quotation generator currently calculates GST at 18%; the statutory rate shown on your final invoice is the rate that applies to your supply.
- Whether CGST + SGST or IGST applies depends on your place of supply, which is taken from the state on your order.
- The online quotation generator uses the catalogue price and quantity you select, and calculates GST at 18% plus an estimated freight amount based on your city and pallet-count inputs. We confirm product availability, the applicable GST, freight, dispatch and final invoice value in writing before an order proceeds.
- A quotation generated on this website is valid for 15 days from its date of issue, as printed on the document. After that, prices are re-confirmed.
- Prices and the price list may change without notice. The price that applies to you is the one on your proforma invoice or order confirmation.
4Orders and how a contract is formed
- 1You submit an order or enquiry through the website, by WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
- 2We review it and, if we can supply it, issue a proforma invoice confirming the items, quantities, price, GST, freight, delivery terms and payment terms.
- 3A contract for supply is formed only when we accept your order in writing — normally by issuing that proforma invoice. Submitting the online form is a request, not a completed purchase.
- 4We may decline or cancel a request before acceptance, for example where the quantity is below the published minimum order, where a specification cannot be made, or where details are incomplete.
- 5Once accepted, the order and every status change appear in your account portal with the order number, and the proforma and tax invoice can be downloaded from there.
Please check your name, company, GSTIN and delivery address carefully before we accept the order. Corrections after a tax invoice has been issued may require a credit note or an amended invoice.
5Payment
- This website has no online checkout and takes no card, UPI or net-banking payment. Payment is settled directly with us by bank transfer, UPI, cheque, or advance against proforma invoice, on the terms stated in your proforma.
- Your payment status and payment date are recorded against the order and visible in the portal.
- A GST tax invoice is issued for every supply. Please share your GSTIN with the order if you need input tax credit.
- We will never ask you for your card number, UPI PIN, net-banking password or a sign-in OTP by phone, email or WhatsApp. Any such request is a fraud attempt — report it to us.
6Dispatch, delivery and transport
- Delivery terms, freight and the dispatch schedule are confirmed on the proforma invoice for your order. They are not set by the website.
- When your order is dispatched, the transporter, the LR / consignment number and the dispatch date are recorded against it and appear in the portal timeline.
- Delivery timelines given before acceptance are estimates. Production and transit can be affected by factors outside our control; we will tell you as soon as we know of a delay.
- Please inspect the consignment when it arrives and report any shortage, transit damage or carton damage at that time, with photographs, so the claim can be lodged with the transporter.
7Warranty, returns and claims
- The warranty period published on each product page applies to that product. Warranty and replacement decisions are made on the facts of the case — the batch supplied, the application, and the condition in which the material was received and used.
- To raise a claim, send your order or invoice number, the batch or product details, the quantity affected and photographs, to the contact details at the end of these terms.
- Ceramic filters are consumable process material. Performance in a specific casting practice depends on pouring conditions, and a result obtained by one foundry is not a promise of the same result for another.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under applicable Indian law that cannot be excluded.
8Customer accounts
- A customer account is created against one email address. That email is how the portal finds your orders, quotations and invoices.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe it has been misused.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, and a session lasts 14 days or until you sign out. Changing your password signs out other devices.
- Please use your own business email and your own GSTIN. Do not create an account using someone else's identity or tax details.
- We may suspend or close an account that is used to submit false enquiries, to abuse the forms, or to attempt unauthorised access.
9Quotation generator and website assistant
- The online quotation generator, product assistant and product recommendations help you evaluate products. Product recommendations and quotation calculations are generated by our application; the public assistant may use a third-party AI model when that feature is enabled and a provider is configured.
- Check the product size, price and technical statements against the published catalogue and the written specification on your proforma invoice. The generated quotation shows its validity period and is subject to the availability and final terms we confirm in writing.
- Do not type passwords, one-time codes, bank details or other people's personal data into the assistant.
- Before a message is sent to an AI provider, the assistant screens it for selected sensitive patterns and masks some personal details; that screening is not a guarantee that every personal detail is removed. The provider and information handling are described in the Privacy Policy.
10Acceptable use of the website
You agree not to:
- use the website for anything unlawful, or submit enquiries, orders, reviews or sample requests that are false, misleading or made in bad faith;
- scrape, crawl, systematically copy or resell the catalogue, price list, technical data or product content without our written permission;
- attempt to access the admin area, probe for vulnerabilities, overload the site with automated traffic, or bypass the rate limits and form protections;
- upload or transmit anything malicious, or use the review and enquiry forms to publish content that is defamatory, infringing or unrelated to our products;
- impersonate another person or business, or use another party's GSTIN or contact details.
11Intellectual property
The Jyoti Refractories name and logo, the catalogue, product photographs, technical documents, page content and downloadable PDFs on this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may download and use the catalogue and technical documents internally to evaluate and purchase our products. You may not republish them as your own, remove our branding, or use our name or mark to imply an endorsement or a relationship that does not exist.
12Third-party services and links
- The Contact page embeds a Google Map, and WhatsApp links open on WhatsApp / Meta. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply once you leave this website.
- Transactional email is delivered through a third-party email service, and order updates may be sent through Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services.
13Availability and general disclaimer
- We try to keep this website accurate and available, but features can be switched off or the site placed in maintenance mode for updates. Individual features — the catalogue, the order form, the quotation generator, reviews, samples or the newsletter — may be temporarily unavailable.
- The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every specification, price or availability statement is current at the moment you read it.
- Always confirm the specification, price and delivery position with us in writing before you commit to a purchase.
14Liability and statutory rights
Any remedy or liability relating to an order is subject to the written order terms and applicable Indian law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. These terms do not set a separate monetary liability cap.
15Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute may be brought before the courts, consumer commissions or statutory forums that have jurisdiction under applicable Indian law. Nothing in these terms removes a forum or remedy that applicable law gives you. The order-specific terms confirmed in writing with your proforma invoice also apply to that supply.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website or the way we trade changes. The version published on this page on the date your order is accepted applies to that order. These terms were last updated on 13 October 2026 (version 1.1).
